About Pan Vera Training, LLC

Pan Vera Training, LLC grew from my belief that relationship problems often begin with communication patterns rather than a lack of love. After seeing couples struggle with misunderstanding, unmet needs, and repeated arguments, I developed a way to help partners understand what was happening beneath the conflict. My work focuses on teaching couples a language for expressing needs, listening with empathy, and creating emotional safety.

That work became a personal coaching practice built around practical communication. Pan has worked with hundreds of couples and keeps the client roster small so he can stay closely involved with each relationship. His approach combines NVC with the Seven Stages of Relationships, the Magical Relationship Method, interactive sessions, and a comprehensive workbook with exercises and reflection prompts. The aim is not simply to reduce arguments, but to help couples understand each other deeply enough to reconnect and build a stronger partnership.

Our Services

Relationship Coaching Services for Different Needs

Every couple faces different relationship concerns. These services focus on specific patterns that may affect communication, connection, and daily life.

Couple Coaching

When the same disagreement keeps returning, it can become hard to see what keeps the cycle going. Couple coaching helps both partners slow the conversation and examine what sits beneath the argument. Sessions may address listening, emotional reactions, needs, assumptions, and clear requests. Pan uses situations from the relationship so couples can practice a different response before the next difficult conversation.

Marriage Coaching

Marriage can bring years of shared habits, expectations, and unresolved conversations. Marriage coaching helps partners examine those patterns without turning the process into a search for blame. The work may address intimacy, household disagreements, family pressures, unmet needs, or defensive communication. Pan guides both partners toward a clearer view of what each person experiences so they can bring that understanding into everyday conversations.

Premarital Coaching

Starting a marriage brings important conversations about communication, expectations, finances, family, conflict, and daily responsibilities. Premarital coaching gives engaged couples a structured way to discuss these areas before marriage. Pan helps couples practice expressing needs, listening to each other, and making clear requests so they can enter marriage with stronger communication skills.

Not every couple has one major conflict. Small frustrations can build until simple conversations become difficult. Relationship coaching helps identify those patterns and explore what each person may be feeling or needing. Coaching may cover trust, boundaries, emotional awareness, communication habits, and specific requests. Couples gain a clearer way to approach situations that once ended in frustration.

Couples Communication Coaching

Communication problems can turn a simple disagreement into a repeated cycle of frustration and defensiveness. Couples communication coaching focuses on the skills partners use when talking, listening, and responding to each other. Pan uses NVC principles to help couples recognize observations, feelings, needs, and requests. The goal is to give partners practical communication tools they can use in everyday situations.

Coaching

Recurring conflict can make partners feel stuck in the same argument without understanding how to move forward. Conflict resolution coaching helps couples examine what happens before, during, and after difficult conversations. Pan guides couples through communication and repair processes that can help them slow down, understand each other's needs, and approach disagreements with greater clarity.

Why Choose Pan Vera Training, LLC for Relationship Coaching?

Choosing a coach involves more than finding someone who talks about relationships. Pan Vera combines specialized NVC training, decades of experience, personal coaching, and a deliberately small client roster.

  • Direct Personal Guidance: Pan works directly with accepted couples throughout the coaching program. Each relationship stays at the center of the work.
  • NVC Trainer Credentials: Pan completed more than 400 hours of training under Dr. Marshall Rosenberg and holds Certified NVC Trainer credentials.
  • Small Client Roster: The program works with only two to three couples at a time. This creates more room for focused attention during coaching.
  • Guided Communication Practice: Couples do more than discuss their problems. They work through communication exercises that can fit real situations outside sessions.
  • Workbook Support: The comprehensive workbook includes exercises and reflection prompts. Couples can use these materials to continue practicing between sessions.
  • Between-Session Contact: The program includes agreed ways for clients to communicate with Pan between sessions. This keeps the learning connected to everyday situations.
  • Conflict Repair Skills: My training includes de-escalation and repair processes for couples facing recurring conflict. These tools can help partners approach difficult moments differently.
  • Clear Service Boundaries: Pan focuses on relationship coaching rather than therapy. The work centers on communication, connection, and relationship skills.
  • 20+ Years of Experience: More than two decades of experience give the practice a strong foundation for working with recurring relationship and communication concerns.

Work Process

How Relationship Coaching Works Step by Step

Every couple enters coaching with different concerns and goals. The process moves from an initial conversation into focused work and continued practice.

Free Consultation

Pan starts by listening to what is happening in the relationship. The conversation covers current concerns, how long the pattern has existed, and whether coaching fits the situation.

Personalized Session Work

Sessions focus on the couple’s specific patterns rather than a fixed script. Pan guides both partners through NVC concepts that can help them recognize feelings, needs, and communication habits.

Between-Session Practice and Support

Change also happens during everyday conversations. Couples use the workbook and agreed support options to practice what they learn between coaching sessions.

What Is Relationship & Marriage Coaching?

Relationship and marriage coaching gives couples a structured way to understand their partnership, improve communication, and work toward shared relationship goals. A disagreement about money may involve security, while conflict about household responsibilities may involve fairness or appreciation. Looking beyond the immediate issue can help partners understand what matters beneath the disagreement and respond with greater awareness.

I use Nonviolent Communication (NVC) to help couples examine observations, feelings, needs, and requests. This gives a practical framework for conversations that may otherwise become defensive or confusing. The goal is not to eliminate every disagreement, but to help partners understand each other more clearly and develop relationship skills they can use in everyday life.

Coaching vs. Therapy: What Is the Difference?

Relationship coaching and therapy serve different purposes. Coaching focuses on communication, relationship goals, and practical skills. Therapy addresses clinical mental health concerns through appropriately licensed professionals.

FeatureRelationship Coaching (e.g., Pan Vera Training, LLC)Therapy
Primary FocusCommunication, actionable goals, skill-building, and patterns.Clinical treatment, mental health conditions, and trauma recovery.
Provider TypeRelationship coaches.Appropriately licensed mental health professionals.
Clinical ScopeDoes not diagnose, treat, or address clinical mental health issues.Provides clinical diagnosis and specialized psychological care.
Best Suited ForCouples seeking to enhance connection and practical communication.Individuals or couples dealing with deep-seated trauma or mental health crises.

Pan Vera provides relationship coaching only. I am a coach, not a licensed therapist or counselor.

Relationship Coaching Scope

Relationship coaching focuses on communication skills, relationship patterns, connection, and practical changes in behavior. I do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.

The distinction matters. Coaching can support relationship and communication goals, while clinical concerns require an appropriately qualified mental health professional.

If a situation involves abuse, immediate danger, or a mental health crisis, seek appropriate professional or emergency support instead of relying on relationship coaching alone.
